Tiger Woods is not physically able to participate in this week's British Open, but that has not stopped him from having a share of the lead after the first round. Woods used his, 'I am the greatest golfer' exemption to enter the tournament via Sony PlayStation.

While the rest of the field had to battle terrible weather conditions on the tournament's first day, Woods had no such problems. He simply set his game to perfect weather and went out and shot a -12 for the day.

Usually the PGA does not allow players to play from their homes, but they needed the ratings that Woods generates. They set up television cameras all over his living room and were there to capture every shot he took on the PlayStation game.

The intention was for Woods to sit out until his leg healed, but that was not an option
after the first few holes of the British Open. The PGA got word that only ten people worldwide were watching, so they quickly phoned Woods and asked him if he would play the tournament on the PlayStation.

Many other players were upset that Woods received the special treatment. Phil Mickelson was most disturbed. "Look at me, I'm a fat pig. I'd like to sit at home and play on my PlayStation, but I can't. So why should he be allowed to. It's a double standard," said Mickelson.

When told of Mickelson's remarks, co-leader Rocco Mediate responded. "He (Mickelson) said that? What a moron. No sh*t there's a double standard. He Tiger Frickin Woods," said Mediate.

The tournament continues on Friday, and most of the television coverage will be following Woods around his mansion until he decides he is ready to take a seat on his couch and tee off.
